Overview
Physical Therapy Assistant – LTAC in Kennebunk, Maine, United States. Start date 08/24/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,403–$1,450 per week. Guaranteed hours 35 per week. Shift 08:00–16:30. Work setting is a long-term acute care environment within a skilled care context. Travel - temporary assignment managed by Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor prescribed therapy interventions under the supervision of a Physical Therapist for LTAC patients
- Perform therapeutic exercises, gait training, ROM activities, and assistive device training as outlined in the plan of care
- Document patient progress, changes in status, and treatment response in accordance with policy and PT guidance
- Assist with patient safety, positioning, transfer assistance, and equipment setup; maintain infection control and equipment sanitation
- Collaborate with the Physical Therapist and the interdisciplinary team to adjust goals and ensure safe, effective care

Requirements
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current Maine PTA license or eligibility for licensure in Maine
- 1+ year of PTA experience in rehab settings; LTAC experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to work within an LTAC rehabilitation team
