Press Brake Operator Duties: 

1. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
2. Select and install correct tooling (dies, punches) based on job specifications.
3. Adjust back gauges, stroke length, pressure, and angles for accurate bending.
4. Set up the machine parameters and programs for manual or CNC-controlled brakes.
5. Load metal sheets or parts onto the brake press using hoists or manually, ensuring proper alignment.
6. Inspect raw materials for defects or inconsistencies before starting operations.
7. Operate the press brake to bend, punch, or form metal to specifications.
8. Perform test runs and adjust settings as needed to maintain dimensional accuracy.
9. Monitor machine performance during production runs and make on-the-fly adjustments.
10. Use measuring tools (calipers, protractors, micrometers, etc.) to inspect workpieces.
11. Ensure all bends meet tolerances and quality standards.
12. Record measurements and maintain documentation for traceability.
13. Identify and resolve minor mechanical or quality issues during setup or production.
14. Report major equipment malfunctions or material issues to supervisors or maintenance staff.
15. Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the press brake and work area.
16. Follow all safety protocols, including the use of PPE and lockout/tagout procedures.
17. Keep the workspace organized to prevent accidents or errors.
18. Communicate with supervisors, engineers, and other team members regarding job progress or issues.
19. Maintain setup sheets, production logs, and inspection records accurately.

Schedule: Monday to Thursday 6:30pm to 5:00am

Pay: $25.65

4. Effective communication with supervisors and coworkers.
5. Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy items for long periods.
6. Able to perform repetitive tasks quickly and accurately.
