About You You’re a hunter. You’re confident, entrepreneurial, and motivated by results. You thrive on connecting with C-level executives, identifying new opportunities, and turning conversations into contracts. You bring a consultative approach to sales and love managing your own pipeline from prospecting to close. You have experience working in a startup or high-growth environment, helping to build and grow a brand that previously had no name, establishing awareness, credibility, and client trust from scratch. Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and target-driven. Ability to build lasting client relationships. Consultative sales experience with a track record of closing complex deals. Strategic thinker who can position solutions to solve client challenges. Confident communicator and trusted advisor to senior executives. What You’ll Do Drive new business development and client acquisition in the Bay Area Conduct high-volume prospecting via email, phone, LinkedIn, and networking events. Manage a full sales pipeline, adjusting activity to exceed targets. Build relationships with CFOs, Controllers, Directors of Finance, and other senior leaders. Partner with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery and client satisfaction. Maintain exceptional client service and respond to any concerns quickly. Help establish and grow the DeWinter brand in the Bay Area, building credibility and awareness from the ground up. Experience & Skills 4+ years of B2B sales or business development experience, ideally within accounting, finance, or professional services recruiting/staffing. A strong understanding of the accounting and finance talent landscape, including industry trends, candidate profiles, and client needs. Proven success in a fast-paced, metrics-driven recruiting or staffing environment. A consultative approach with the ability to build trust, influence decision-makers, and close complex searches. Exceptional communication skills, with confidence engaging hiring managers, CFOs, Controllers, and senior finance leaders. Entrepreneurial mindset, self-motivated, goal-oriented, and energized by building and growing a book of business. A strong local network within the accounting and finance community and a passion for cultivating long-term client and candidate relationships.
