Assistant Branch Manager
Legacy Community Federal Credit Union is looking for the right candidate to join our team as a full time Assistant Branch Manager.
Legacy is committed to assisting our members in the greater Birmingham area at one of our eleven branches. Additionally, we are proud to be the official credit union of the University of Alabama at Birmingham. We want to help our members Craft their Legacy by providing products and services to our members that help fulfill their financial needs. We have been loyal to the UAB and Birmingham community since 1955.
We are also committed to providing competitive pay to our employees, as well as excellent benefits. We offer health and dental insurance through BCBS of Alabama, as well as company paid Life, Short-Term Disability and Long-Term Disability insurance. We offer two retirement plans: 401(k) with discretionary match and a Cash Balance Defined Benefit Plan and Trust. We also have 12 paid holidays, 12 vacation days, and 10 sick days for our employees! This is a full time position, with the standard hours being Monday through Thursday from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, and Friday from 8:30 am - 6:30 pm.
In this Assistant Branch Manager position, we rely on you to effectively assist our team and members with all of their financial transactions while providing exceptional customer service. This role will assist members with opening and closing accounts, answering complex questions about products and services, receiving loan applications, as well as resolving problems. In addition to helping our members, you are happy to jump in and perform a variety of miscellaneous tasks including typing, filing, computer input and answering the telephone. - Prior frontline financial service experience
- Experience handling money
- Knowledge of the lending process
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of related experience needed
