Hours Sun, Mon, Tues (with some Saturdays) 4:00 PM–4:30 AM Wed, Thurs, Fri (with some Saturdays) 4:00 PM–4:30 AM Pay Based on experience Job Description We are hiring a skilled Optical Lab Technician with hands‑on experience in surfacing, finishing, and mounting. The ideal candidate thrives in a production‑driven environment, maintains high accuracy standards, and understands the importance of turnaround time and product quality. What You’ll Do Bench/Mounters: Inserting lenses into frames, edging, beveling, tinting, and ensuring lenses meet correct power, axis, and prism standards. Inspection: Checking frames and lenses for cosmetic and optical defects using ANSI standards. Surface: Using state‑of‑the‑art CNC optical machinery. Handling lens surface processes like taping, blocking, generating, coating, and polishing. AR Department: Operating state‑of‑the‑art Anti‑Reflective Coating Machinery, sorting and inspecting lenses, and ensuring they meet quality standards. Qualifications No specific educational level required – your experience speaks volumes! A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with high‑volume optical manufacturing is needed. Precision and accuracy are paramount in this role. This position requires intermittent focused effort, coupled with organizational and planning skills.
