Manufacturing Technician

Help support engineering project fabrication, machining, and assembly. Troubleshoot and repair production equipment of various types. Interact regularly with vendors and co-workers. Document assembly steps and maintain records for company and customers. Follow all safety policies and company-wide safety requirements. Read and follow written and/or verbal directions and use a computer to communicate, create, and access information. Minimum Qualifications: This safety-sensitive role may be subject to employer or customer drug testing One year experience with the following: Performing mechanical assembly work Operation of manual lathe/mill Welding (GMAW, SMAW, and GTAW) Ability to interpret machine drawings and electrical schematics Basic understanding of single and 3 phase electrical. Working knowledge of hand & power tools, overhead crane Speak, read, and write English fluently. Self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Extreme heat: Temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour. Consideration should be given to the effect of other environmental conditions, such as wind and humidity. Hazards: Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current or exposure to chemicals. Atmospheric conditions: One or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system or the skin: fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation.
