Housekeeping Room AttendantPay Range is $20 - $22 an hour, DOE.Hyatt House Seattle/Bellevue, an upscale extended-stay hotel near downtown Bellevue, greets guests with 160 guest rooms and suites, the first-floor H Bar, an indoor pool and whirlpool and more than 2,000 sq. ft. of event space.The hotel is just off I-90, on 139th Avenue SE at SE Eastgate Way — with free employee parking at the hotel. LodgeWorks Housekeeping Room Attendants are responsible for continuing the hotel's efforts to deliver outstanding service by cleaning guest rooms and responding to guest requests.To put it simply: The primary responsibility of a Housekeeping Room Attendant is to deliver and exceed guest expectations, clean and style hotel rooms and public areas to brand standards, promptly address guest requests and work collaboratively to resolve guest challenges.Your Day-to-DayApproach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.Maintain regular attendance in compliance with LodgeWorks standards as required by scheduling, which varies according to hotel needs.Comply with LodgeWorks' standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.Replace guest amenities and supplies in guest rooms.Make beds and fold sheets and towels.Remove trash, dirty linens and room service items.Dust, polish and remove marks from walls and furnishings.Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties.Clean and sanitize guest rooms and restrooms.Accomplish deep-cleaning tasks of guest rooms.Ensure that we always follow LodgeWorks and OSHA standards when handling chemicals.Maintain professionalism consistent with hotel, brand and company expectations.Ensure cleanliness of housekeeping cart and equipment.Maintain cleanliness and brand standards guidelines of assigned areas.Maintain appearance and uniform standards.Report all lost and found items immediately to the supervisor.Assist in any other task or duties as requested by management.Who You AreA hardworking team player with a heart for hospitality, who understands the importance of cleanliness and safety.Naturally curious and value listening to solve problems.An expert in prioritizing with the ability to use time wisely.Dedicated with a strong work ethic and can work both individually and with a team.Steadfastly driven to ensure the safety and security of the guests and their belongings.Comfortable following directions, guidelines and work objectives.Capable of exerting up to 60 pounds of force occasionally.Capable of standing for an entire shift or for an extended amount of time.Capable of reaching overhead, utilizing both hands, leaning over, stooping and kneeling.A plus: Hospitality or commercial cleaning experience.A must: Eager to be part of a great work culture and team.BenefitsWe are proud to offer competitive wages and the following benefits for full-time employees:PTOHotel and restaurant discounts available at select LodgeWorks propertiesHealth, vision and dental benefits401(k) plans with matching contributionsPaid holidaysShort-term and long-term disability (company sponsored)Referral bonusesFlexible spending accountsLodgeWorks is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity at our company.
