This outstanding opportunity lets you lead and innovate within a team of highly skilled engineers focused on developing flawless and world-class solutions that advance the industry.ResponsibilitiesIn the role of Principal CAD Engineer/Manager, you will:Lead the building and development of advanced CAD tools and methodologies.Collaborate with multi-functional teams to successfully implement and integrate CAD solutions.Determine and establish CAD build standards and guidelines.Mentor and guide engineers, encouraging an inclusive and collaborative environment.Benchmark internal capabilities against industry standards to ensure competitive performance.Coordinate the maintenance and improvement of existing CAD tools to ensure flawless operation.Minimum QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:A Bachelor's or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in CAD tool development and management.Strong knowledge of semiconductor build and processes.Outstanding problem-solving abilities and the capacity to collaborate effectively within a diverse group.Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C++.Preferred QualificationsWe highly value candidates with:Experience in managing CAD projects from concept through implementation.Experience with commonly used CAD tools and software in the industry.A track record of mentoring and developing engineers early in their careers.Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts.Experience with DRAM or NAND device development.BenefitsAt Micron, we take pride in empowering our employees and their families to stay happy, healthy, and financially well.
