As a Security Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.60 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon12:00 AM - 08:00 AMTue12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies, disruptive behavior, and/or access concerns. Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary throughout the healthcare location. Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, directions, and adherence to site-specific entry procedures. Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
