You’ll dedicate your expertise to just one campus, with positions across various specialized classrooms—including life skills, autism support, behavior-focused settings, and medically fragile units. Candidates are encouraged to share their preferred caseloads and specific roles/campuses for consideration.

Key Qualifications:

• Accredited bachelor’s degree required
• Valid Texas Special Education (EC-12) teaching certificate
• Must complete fingerprinting through the TEA (if not recently done for another district; results typically take up to 7 days)
• Experience with inclusion classrooms, behavior management, or medically fragile populations is highly valued

Role Responsibilities:

• Design and implement IEP-driven lessons for elementary students with diverse learning needs
• Create a supportive, inclusive classroom culture adaptable to unique caseloads (life skills, autism, behavior, medically fragile students)
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, nurses, and teaching teams to address individualized student needs and instructional plans
• Maintain consistent communication with families and school-based professionals to ensure student progress and well-being
• Adhere to all state and district-specific compliance, documentation, and safety protocols
