Assistant Physical Therapist

Physical Therapist Assistant, PTAHealthcare Recruiters International (HCRI) is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant, PTA to specialize in EMG Testing, Electromyography Testing and NCS, Nerve Conduction Studies for a stable and growing company in the Greater Houston region. Great fit for a PTA looking to specialize, grow clinically, and step away from a traditional caseload.PTA will perform the most basic level of EMG/NCS testing to start, with growth into more advanced testing over time.PTA will begin at 1 test per day, building up to 6 tests per day once fully proficient.Each test takes approximately 1-1.5 hours, depending on proficiency.Customized, individualized training program.Training provided in Dallas, TX.Paid hotel stays for shadowing and hands on training.PTAs do not reach full 6-test-per-day proficiency until year 2 or 3 in the role.PTA covers one clinic location per day (not multiple stops daily), minimizing commute time between assignments.PTA primary location is Houston, TX.PTA will travel to multiple facility locations throughout the Greater Houston area, including:Houston (77018, 77007, 77058)Kingwood (77339)Baytown (77521)The Woodlands (77384)Shenandoah (77381)Huntsville (77340)Katy (77450)Mileage and toll reimbursement for local travel between facilities.Full-Time and PRN schedules both considered.PTA receives an annual review, with raises based on performance and testing volume.Physical Therapist Assistant EMG/NCS Testing Specialist Requirements:Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of TexasComfortable with daily travel to assigned clinic locationsQuick learner, comfortable working with growing independence over timeDiverse clinical background a plusDesire to specializePhysical Therapist Assistant EMG/NCS Testing Specialist Compensation:$80K-$87KFull-Time or PRN options availableMileage ReimbursementPaid TrainingAnnual Review with Raise Opportunity Based on PerformanceBenefits (Full-Time)
