Aquarium & Aviary Service Representative

This role primarily services aquariums and aviaries in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. This is an entry level position that requires basic knowledge of hand tools and assembly. Heavy lifting, bending, and other physical demands are involved. This is a part-time position with hours typically during business hours (8am–7pm) but flexible; hours vary month to month and average around 5–10 per week (20–30 hours a month). Travel within a 100 mile radius of Cincinnati, OH is required. Furthest accounts include Georgetown (50 miles) and Blanchester (40 miles). Most accounts are within ~30 miles of Cincinnati. Mileage reimbursement is paid while driving. Hourly wage is not paid during driving. Responsibilities Well organized with excellent time management Maintain a professional appearance and communicate effectively Effectively communicate company products and services Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks Self-motivated with a drive to exceed goals Respond to calls, emails, and faxes to address customer needs Plan an efficient work schedule Manage service cycles for the customer base Store and handle supplies (e.g., bedding, seed, totes) as required Qualifications and Experience Experience in fish keeping and/or bird keeping preferred Strong attitude and willingness to learn Ability to adjust priorities to match business needs Strong work ethic with punctuality and good attendance Ability to communicate and collaborate in a team environment Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions in English Mechanical aptitude is a plus Flexibility with schedule and responsibilities Able to travel within the service area radius Heavy lifting and maneuvering are required High school education is preferred Driver’s license required Job Details Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $25.00 per hour Expected hours: Around 5–10 per week or 20–30 hours a month; hours vary based on services due Shift: Day shift #J-18808-Ljbffr ADAM'S SPECIALTY PRODUCTS, LLC
