Job Summary The Allied Health Division seeks and employs instructors throughout the year. This role focuses on teaching Medical Administrative Assistant courses, upholding the mission of NCTC, and contributing to the overall educational environment. Key duties include providing learning activities, academic advising, committee participation, professional development, community development, and other service support. Responsibilities and Duties Treat students and colleagues with respect. Active involvement in issues of institutional effectiveness including student learning outcomes, program level outcomes, and marketable skill achievement. Focus teaching and outreach efforts on student success. Other duties as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change based on the needs of the department and the institution. Required Education Certified in medical office/general office management procedures (CMAA, RMA, AAMA). Required Skills & Abilities Excellent customer service, organizational, and motivational skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Exhibition of respect and professionalism in a spirit of collegiality. Ability to promote an effective environment for learning in lecture experiences. Preferred Skills & Abilities Proficiency with Canvas LMS.
