Role Description The Inside Account Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater Orlando, responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of business customers. This role focuses on building strong relationships with clients, understanding their workplace needs, and recommending Staples products and solutions that support their operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include handling inbound and outbound calls, responding to customer inquiries, preparing quotes, processing orders, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and service. The Inside Account Specialist will monitor account activity, identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, and use data and insights to drive customer retention and revenue growth. This position also involves maintaining accurate records in CRM systems and collaborating with sales, finance, and customer support to provide a seamless customer experience. Qualifications Strong Customer Service and Account Management skills to build relationships, resolve issues, and manage a portfolio of business clients. Solid Analytical Skills to interpret account data, identify trends, and support business decisions and sales strategies. Effective Communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with customers and collaborate with internal stakeholders. Basic understanding of Finance concepts to support pricing, quoting, and account review activities. Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) or similar tools. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and manage multiple priorities. Experience in inside sales, account management, or B2B customer service is preferred.
