About the Role

Calling all high‑energy, people‑loving, coffee‑obsessed leaders! As a Store Leader , you’re the heartbeat of a Scooter’s Coffee location. You’ll oversee staffing, sales, operations, and store culture — all while building a friendly, service‑oriented barista team that lives out Scooter’s Core Values: Courage, Humility, Integrity, Love .

You’ll set the pace, drive profitability, uphold standards, and model an engaged, hands‑on leadership style. If you thrive in fast‑paced environments and love developing people, this role is your perfect blend.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Lead an Amazing Customer Experience

• Ensure consistent, quality guest experiences through proper staffing and execution of the Scooter’s Amazings

• Maintain a culture of accountability, adherence to standards, and brand recipe excellence

• Foster and model Scooter’s Core Values every day

Keep the Store Looking & Running Great

• Maintain store appearance, cleanliness, food safety, and equipment standards

• Ensure operational procedures are followed accurately and consistently

Build & Develop Your Team

• Interview, hire, train, and develop staff to meet company standards

• Provide ongoing performance feedback and coaching

• Identify motivation factors and deliver clear, constructive feedback

• Maintain accountability using progressive discipline when needed

• Partner with your District Manager on termination decisions when appropriate

Master Staffing & Scheduling

• Determine daily and weekly staffing needs based on business demands

• Create schedules that support operations, maximize sales, and develop team members

• Ensure full team participation in setting store goals and action plans

Drive Sales & Profitability

• Seek opportunities to increase sales and manage expenses

• Uphold all Scooter’s and Hart Family Coffee standards

• Maintain daily, weekly, and quarterly financial reports

• Ensure key metrics are met and the store’s business health is communicated clearly

Lead by Example

• Serve as the role model for operational excellence and Core Values

• Be present in the store for the required hours

• Maintain final accountability for store operations

• Ability to effectively teach, lead, and develop others

• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

• Passion for people and maintaining a culture of accountability

• Energetic, fast‑paced, flexible work style with full‑time availability

• Strong problem‑solving, multi‑tasking, and administrative skill set

• Ability to anticipate and respond to changes in business health

• Ability to uphold standards and make tough accountability decisions when needed
