Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney based in Westlake Village, CA, with some travel required for appearances, hearings, depositions, and mandatory office meetings. Our Attorneys manage the legal defense of Workers' Compensation cases from inception to final resolution, including all aspects of discovery and litigation. The attorneys work closely with insurance companies, employers, and third-party administrators. The Attorney will provide legal counsel and representation regarding workers' compensation matters, including handling claims, navigating insurance disputes, and advising on employee benefits.
Qualifications
- Excellent Customer Service skills with a client-focused mindset
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active bar license in the state of California
- Strong research, negotiation, and legal writing skills
- At least 2 years' experience in workers' compensation legal field
- Superior research, analytical, and negotiating ability
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Commitment to proactive case management
Salary: $175,000.00-$220,000.00+ DOE
