Saw Operator 1st Shift Nesco Resource is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Saw Operator for a 1st shift opportunity with a growing manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will have experience operating saw equipment, reading work orders, and producing quality parts in a fast-paced production environment. Responsibilities: Set up and operate saw equipment to cut raw materials according to specifications and production requirements. Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production documents. Measure and inspect materials to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met. Perform routine machine adjustments and basic preventative maintenance. Monitor equipment performance and report any mechanical issues. Maintain production records and documentation as required. Follow all safety procedures and company policies. Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe. Work effectively with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines. Qualifications: Previous manufacturing or saw operation experience preferred. Ability to read and use measuring tools such as tape measures, rulers, and calipers. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Basic math and problem-solving skills. Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn equipment operation. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
