Maintenance Technicians / HandymenLocation: Seattle, WASchedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PMPay: $30-$35/hrJob OverviewWe're seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to perform repairs, maintenance, renovations, and emergency service work across apartment and residential properties. The ideal candidate has experience with carpentry, drywall, plumbing, electrical repairs, and general building maintenance while providing excellent customer service.ResponsibilitiesComplete scheduled, turnover, and emergency maintenance repairsPerform carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, and minor electrical workAssist with renovations, remodels, and special construction projectsConduct inspections and preventive maintenanceMaintain safe, clean, and organized worksitesCommunicate with property managers and document completed workParticipate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergenciesQualifications2+ years of maintenance, handyman, or property maintenance experienceExperience with carpentry, drywall repair, plumbing, and basic electrical workAbility to repair doors, walls, flooring, fixtures, appliances, and locksFamiliarity with remodeling, roofing, siding, concrete, or brickwork preferredBasic computer skills for work orders, email, and online systemsStrong communication and customer service skillsReliable transportation, personal cell phone, and basic maintenance tools requiredAbility to work independently and follow safety proceduresMust have a valid driver's license and clean driving recordMust have a vehicle in operable conditionPreferred ExperienceApartment or residential property maintenanceWorking with subcontractors and vendorsAffordable housing or multi-property maintenance environmentsApply today to join a team dedicated to keeping residential communities safe, clean, and well-maintained.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Seattle, WA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
