Job Title Protection Officer Employment Type Part time (PRN – Non‑benefited) Shift Rotating – scheduled as needed; must be available to work all three shifts if required. Location Holy Cross Germantown Hospital, Germantown, MD Position Purpose The Protection Officer is responsible for maintaining the security and safety of the hospital and their assigned post during their watch. Key Responsibilities Vigilantly monitor the hospital for suspicious activity and people. Take appropriate actions to ensure safety and security. Conduct daily patrols. Write clear and legible reports. Provide service without bias or discrimination. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience as a security officer (minimum 4 years). Valid driver’s license. One or more years of security experience preferred. BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider certification from American Heart Association preferred.
