Immediate need for a talented Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR). This is a 03+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Atlanta, Georgia (Onsite).

Pay Range: $55/hr - $60/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Shift: 10-hour Day Shift (6:45 AM 5:15 PM)
• Duration: 13 weeks (05/18/2026 08/15/2026)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Overtime: Daily OT after 24 hours (based on multiplier); Weekly OT after 40 hours (based on multiplier)
• On-Call: Yes (call, weekends, and holidays required)
• No block scheduling
• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care (pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative)
• Circulate and/or scrub for various surgical procedures including trauma and burn cases
• Maintain a sterile field and adhere to strict infection control protocols
• Assist with patient positioning, skin preparation, and surgical site marking
• Monitor patient status throughout the intra-operative period
• Anticipate surgeon and anesthesia provider needs during procedures
• Administer medications and blood products as ordered
• Document all intra-operative care, counts, and events accurately
• Participate in surgical time-out and safety checklist protocols
• Respond to emergency situations and trauma activations
• Take on-call shifts as assigned, including weekends and holidays
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary surgical team to optimize patient outcomes

• Setting: Level 1 Trauma Center Operating Room
• Schedule Note: Call, weekends, and holidays required / No block scheduling
• EMR: EPIC (assumed based on facility standard)

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Active RN license in the State of Georgia or valid eNLC compact multi-state license
• AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)
• AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• CNOR certification preferred
• Previous travel experience
• Level 1 trauma center experience
• Burn experience preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent OR nursing experience
• Strong skills across multiple surgical specialties
• Excellent circulating and scrubbing skills
• Strong understanding of sterile technique and surgical protocols
• Ability to work in a high-pressure Level 1 trauma environment
• Quick critical thinking and decision-making abilities
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to take call, work weekends, and holidays as assigned
