Litigation Legal Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Support attorneys through all phases of litigation, including document preparation, filing, discovery coordination, and trial preparation.
• Draft, format, proofread, and e-file pleadings, motions, correspondence, and other legal documents in state and federal courts.
• Manage attorney calendars, court deadlines, scheduling, and case files to ensure matters progress efficiently and accurately.
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and vendors while maintaining confidentiality and strong client service standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4+ years of litigation legal assistant experience in a law firm environment.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal court filing procedures, litigation deadlines, and legal terminology.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
