Position Summary

The Senior Staff Accountant will play a key role in supporting the accounting function across multiple entities. This individual will be heavily involved in accounts payable operations, general ledger management, financial reporting, reconciliations, month-end close activities, and audit support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, highly organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Heavily support and oversee accounts payable processes
• Maintain and manage vendor records and information
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare and analyze aging reports
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure financial accuracy
• Perform accounts payable reconciliations
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Conduct variance analysis and identify financial trends
• Review purchase orders and ensure proper three-way matching procedures
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Prepare and distribute AP reporting and analysis
• Support multi-entity accounting operations
• Assist with financial reporting and special projects
• Handle ad hoc reporting, analysis, and accounting assignments as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity environment
• Strong understanding of accounts payable, reconciliations, and general ledger accounting
• Experience with month-end and year-end close processes
• Knowledge of PO processing and three-way matching
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• ERP system experience preferred

Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience

Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, Fully Onsite in West Palm Beach, FL
