Role Description The Interventionist is a full-time hybrid role based in Spokane, WA, with some work-from-home flexibility. This role involves planning, coordinating, and facilitating interventions for individuals experiencing addiction or mental health challenges, in collaboration with families and treatment providers. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing intervention and recovery plans, providing behavioral support and coaching to clients and families, and documenting services in accordance with organizational policies. The Interventionist will communicate regularly with therapists, case managers, and external partners to ensure continuity of care, track progress, and adjust strategies as needed. Additional tasks may include providing psychoeducation, participating in team meetings, and supporting outreach and resource referrals to enhance client engagement and outcomes. Qualifications Strong foundation in Applied Behavior Analysis and Behavioral Intervention to design and implement effective, evidence-based strategies. Knowledge of Psychology and Education principles to support client learning, emotional regulation, and skill development. Excellent Communication skills, including active listening, clear documentation, and the ability to engage respectfully with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Experience working with individuals affected by addiction and/or mental health conditions, preferably in community, clinical, or family-centered settings. Relevant degree in psychology, social work, counseling, education, or a related field; appropriate licensure or certification is an asset. Ability to maintain professional boundaries, uphold confidentiality, and navigate crisis situations with calm and sound judgment. Comfort with hybrid work, including in-person services in Spokane, WA and remote tasks such as documentation and virtual meetings.
