Position Overview

Seeking a skilled and autonomous Physical Therapist for a travel or contract assignment at a premier, nationally recognized academic medical center. This role offers a manageable workload within a highly supportive, team-oriented department. First-time travel therapists with strong clinical experience are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities & Clinical Expectations

• Patient Caseload: Manage a steady daily census of 6 to 9 patients per day.
• Clinical Scope: Evaluate and treat a diverse, high-acuity patient population. Common diagnoses include:
  • CVA (Stroke) and Neurological disorders
  • Amputations and Orthopedics
  • Multi-trauma, Fractures, and Spinal Cord injuries
  • General Debility
• Documentation: Utilize EPIC EMR for clinical charting.
• Flexibility: Ability to float between hospital floors/units. Willingness to float to Inpatient Rehab or the Baldwin facility is a plus.

Candidate Requirements

• Licensure: Active Physical Therapist license in the State of Georgia.
• Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience: 1 year of relevant clinical experience is preferred. Must be capable of working independently with minimal oversight.
