Temporary Manufacturing & Distribution Employee

The Temporary Manufacturing & Distribution Employee supports seasonal business needs by performing a variety of entry-level tasks within our manufacturing or distribution operations. Depending on experience, Temp Employees may be assigned to different departments, work areas, or duties based on daily staffing and production needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Depending on experience, may perform general manufacturing, assembly, packaging, material handling, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, or warehouse duties as assigned.
• Operate basic tools, equipment, or machinery after appropriate training.
• Move, organize, load, and unload products, materials, and supplies.
• Follow established work instructions, quality standards, and productivity expectations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including required use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Work cooperatively with team members and supervisors and assist in other areas as business needs require.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and work safely in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and remain productive throughout the scheduled shift.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality are required.
• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution experience is helpful but not required.

Physical Requirements Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods; frequently bend, reach, push, pull, and handle materials; and regularly lift and move materials consistent with the requirements of the assigned work area.
