Required Skills:

• Board-certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology with specialization in Maternal Fetal Medicine
• Proven expertise in high-risk pregnancy management
• Proficiency in procedures such as Amniocentesis, Chorionic Villus Sampling, and Cerclage (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of fetal and maternal co-morbidities, including pre-eclampsia, growth restrictions, and chromosomal abnormalities
• Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically EPIC and VistaPoint
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication skills, and team collaboration

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience supervising or working alongside Nurse Practitioners and sonographers
• Additional certifications in fetal medicine or ultrasound
• Previous locum or outpatient practice experience in a hospital or clinic setting

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Active, unrestricted medical license in Virginia or eligibility to obtain one
• Minimum of 2 years of maternal-fetal medicine experience, particularly in high-risk cases

Other Requirements:

• Multiple open coverage dates starting from April 28, 2026
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days
• Ability to work independently with a supportive clinical team
• Willingness to provide inpatient and outpatient care, including high-risk pregnancies
• Travel expenses covered: flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage (billed at IRS standard rates)
