This full-time position offers the chance to make a positive impact, working from now through the end of the school year, with the possibility of continuing into the 2025/2026 academic year. You'll be immersed in a dynamic setting, assisting students aged 3-21 with a range of disabilities, including those on the autism spectrum and those requiring behavioral support.

In this vital role, paraprofessionals will provide both classroom and one-on-one support, fostering an atmosphere of respect, encouragement, and growth. This is an excellent position for individuals passionate about inclusive education and eager to contribute meaningfully to the school community.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current PEL (Professional Educator License) or Paraprofessional Certification required
• Experience supporting students with autism and behavioral needs preferred
• Comfort working with a diverse range of ages and abilities
• Ability to foster an inclusive and positive classroom environment
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to the school calendar (Monday through Friday, 32 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist certified teachers in classroom management and instructional support
• Offer individualized support to students as assigned
• Implement strategies to encourage successful learning and behavior
• Model patience and positive interactions at all times
• Collaborate with staff to adapt materials and activities for various learning needs
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism
