Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for a Physical Therapist!

Job Description:


- Shift: 8H Days (0800) + 2 weekend shifts per month
- First to Float required
- Unit Notes:
- No pre-screening, Manager will interview
- Need 2 supervisor references from modality submitted (charge accepted): 1 within 12 months & 1 within 3 years worked
- A copy of the Driver's License is required at the time of submittal to validate legal name
- Pulse must reflect the name on a government-issued ID (no middle initial or middle name)

- General Requirements:
- Candidates may not have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any facility associated with CommonSpirit within the past year
- PRN employment through outside firms will be considered

- Job Location:
- Mainly working in skilled nursing facility, with training to float to inpatient acute care hospital (same parking lot)

- Experience:
- Open to new grads with 6 months of experience in acute care or skilled nursing; preferably skilled nursing experience

- Patient Care:
- Number of patients treated per day: 8-9 (post-acute)
- Common diagnoses/types of patients include:
- Total joint replacements
- Stroke
- Deconditioning
- Pneumonia
- Balance difficulties associated with general medical conditions
- Geriatric patients with chronic conditions (Ortho, Neuro)

- Required Skills:
- Ability to work independently and perform transfers
- Excellent communication skills
- Collaborative work with interdisciplinary team

- Additional Information:
- Charting System: Cerner
- Orientation: Floor-specific
- No weekend requirement
- No holiday requirement
