Perform medical procedures and surgeries such as correcting bunions, treating fractures, and removing ingrown toenails or infections. Prescribe treatments including medications, orthotics, physical therapy, and preventive care plans to improve mobility and foot health. Educate patients on foot care, injury prevention, and management of conditions related to diabetes, arthritis, and circulation issues Qualifications you’ll need Experience working alone, as well as podiatrists with wound care training in a hospital setting.
