Surgery - General Physician

$450k-$520k Great Benefits We are seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon with surgical privileges to join our medical practice full time in the Silver Spring, MD area. Ideally, we are looking for a board‑certified orthopedic surgeon, trained in general orthopedics with surgical privileges at local hospitals, to join an integrated musculoskeletal practice specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of patients injured in motor vehicle accidents and work‑related injuries. The practice also includes neurology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, internal medicine, primary care, and chiropractic/physical therapy. In‑house services include physical therapy and chiropractic (aquatic therapy, land‑based strengthening, work conditioning and work hardening, vestibular and cognitive therapy, Functional Capacity Evaluations), electrodiagnostic, interventional pain management and X‑rays. The practice has offices in Camp Springs, Silver Spring, and Hyattsville, and the physician will cover all locations. Job Duties Provide quality patient care and management Recommend tests and conduct diagnostic testing to determine extent of injury and appropriate treatment Oversee diagnosis and treatment of occupational or motor vehicle injuries Prepare patients for return to work after illness or injury Perform orthopedic surgery with surgical privileges at surrounding hospitals Collaborate with colleagues and staff for comprehensive patient care Uphold the company’s mission to provide exceptional patient care and lead in a way that aligns with the company’s goals Requirements MD/DO from an accredited educational institution Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Maryland Board certified in Orthopedic Surgery (general orthopedic surgeon) Schedule Full time Monday through Friday work schedule Salary $450k-$520k Benefits Company paid malpractice insurance PTO and paid holidays Medical, dental, and vision benefits Company paid life insurance and long‑term disability insurance Short‑term disability EAP 401(k) retirement plan Paid CME days #J-18808-Ljbffr
