Thrive Pet Healthcare is looking to add a Part-Time Board Certified Surgeon to the Veterinary Orthopedic and Sports Medicine team! The Veterinary Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Group (VOSM) pioneered orthopedic, sports medicine, and rehab specialty practice in the U.S. Established in 2005, VOSM is renowned in the Baltimore-Washington, D.C., metro as a top choice for orthopedic pet treatment referrals. VOSM was one of the first canine orthopedic sub-specialty groups in the world. Equipped with extensive orthopedic instrumentation, total hip replacement program, and multiple arthroscopic towers, VOSM features onsite 1.5 Tesla MRI, diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound, digital radiology suites, and a dedicated neurology center. Sports medicine and rehab departments emphasize regenerative medicine, musculoskeletal ultrasound, conditioning, and hydrotherapy. Certified canine rehab practitioners skilled in orthopedic rehab modalities and therapies are available. Offers research, teaching, and clinical trial opportunities, including lectures and workshops on orthopedics and sports medicine. Engages in training programs like externships, surgical internships, ACVSMR residencies, and fellowships.

Annapolis is a charming town with colonial heritage, cobblestone streets, and historic architecture. Experience & Skills Requirements:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required
• State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, before their start date.
• Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible.
• Board Certified Veterinary Surgeon or Residency Trained Veterinarian.
