Medical Laboratory Technologist
Schedule: 8 Hour Nights, 11 PM - 7:30 AM, Varies (requires every other weekend rotation)
Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 Weekly
Requirements:
- Experience with Sysmex and CellaVision systems
- Previous work in a large hospital laboratory (600+ beds)
- Familiarity with managing complex samples, including turbid specimens and abnormal cell findings
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory tests and analyses in accordance with established protocols
- Ensure accuracy in performing differentials critical to daily operations
- Manage and interpret complex laboratory results
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
- Adhere to safety and quality standards in laboratory operations
Compliance / Notes:
Requires extensive training for candidates not already competent in specified areas, which may delay readiness.
