Controllership ManagerOur Deloitte Finance Transformation team practices to help chief financial officers, controllers, and finance teams define and execute their finance and global business services agendas and strategies. You will work with leading-class teams and solutions, helping clients navigate challenging environments, market uncertainty, technology development, and regulatory considerations to unlock value. Your work may span strategy, operations, process design, and technology as we partner with clients to transform finance. Work you'll do As a Manager, Controllership on the Controllership and Treasury Transformation team, you will be responsible for:Advising clients on financial operations and financial reporting close activities in accordance with OMB Circular A-136 and OMB Circular A-123, Appendices A through DManaging and coaching teams by setting priorities, overseeing day-to-day execution, and reviewing work products against contractual deliverablesCoordinating with stakeholders on financial statement audits, audit readiness activities, and internal control mattersProviding financial oversight and reporting support to help clients address compliance, reporting, and operational requirementsLeading workstreams that support finance transformation, process improvement, and controllership modernization effortsA successful candidate would possess these skills:Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a teamMeticulous attention to detail and quality of work productAbility to lead projects or workstreamsAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentAbility to mentor and provide clear guidance to othersThe team Deloitte's Government & Public Services (GPS) practice - our people, ideas, technology and outcomes - is designed for impact. Qualifications Required:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldActive TS/SCI clearance with polygraphCertified Public Accountant (CPA) license9+ years of government accounting experience2+ years of government accounting experience supporting Intelligence Community clientsAbility to work onsite in McLean, Virginia 5 days per weekMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the futurePreferred:Experience supporting financial statement audits and audit readiness activitiesExperience applying OMB Circular A-136 and OMB Circular A-123, Appendices A through DExperience managing teams and reviewing contractual deliverables in a federal client environmentThe wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $124,700 to $207,800. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
