General Dentist – General & Cosmetic Dentistry

Altius Dental is seeking a skilled and compassionate General Dentist to join our established practice in Portland, Texas. We are looking for a well-rounded provider who is confident performing general and cosmetic dentistry and is comfortable treating both adults and children when needed.

The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care while creating personalized treatment plans that address each patient's oral health and cosmetic goals.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive exams, diagnoses, and treatment planning
• Provide general dental services, including fillings, crowns, bridges, and extractions
• Perform cosmetic procedures such as veneers, bonding, teeth whitening, and smile makeovers
• Treat adult patients and pediatric patients as needed
• Educate patients and parents about treatment options and preventive care
• Maintain complete and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with the clinical and administrative teams to provide an excellent patient experience
• Follow all clinical, safety, and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
• Active Texas dental license in good standing
• Current professional liability insurance
• Experience or demonstrated ability in cosmetic dentistry
• Comfortable performing routine extractions and restorative procedures
• Comfortable treating children when scheduled
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and chairside manner
• Commitment to ethical, patient-centered care
