About the Role
Support production planning and manufacturing operations by managing production orders, MRP signals, material shortages, and WIP activities to help maintain timely production schedules and inventory accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor WIP production orders, aging, material shortages, and SRU/LRU on-time completions; provide status reporting as needed.
- Review and release planned and production orders, ensuring paperwork accuracy and addressing reschedules, cancellations, and other MRP signals.
- Maintain production orders and planning data, including red-lining, firm-planning, and actions needed to balance floor capacity.
- Support daily manufacturing coordination meetings, WIP floor audits, inventory counts, and reconciliation activities.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and coordinate material priorities and kit-of-piece shipments to support production requirements.
Qualifications
- Experience with production planning, manufacturing operations, production orders, WIP, and material coordination.
- Working knowledge of MRP systems and the ability to act on planning signals, including releases, reschedules, and cancellations.
- Experience maintaining production orders, item planning data, and material requirements.
- Strong attention to detail with experience supporting inventory accuracy, reconciliation, and production documentation.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with manufacturing, warehouse, and other operational teams in a fast-paced production environment.
