Volunteer Gardener

Location: Southampton, Hampshire, England Are you a green fingered gardener? Would you like to help create lovely spaces in a large garden? We are looking for a keen gardener to volunteer alongside the people we support to manage our garden, learn a range of gardening skills and develop a love for gardening! Activities will include: Developing and maintaining a very large garden to make it an enjoyable space for everyone to enjoy Helping the people we support to take part in gardening activities and learning new skills Building friendships with the people we support and encouraging involvement in the garden environment. Helping with ideas for adaptations to make the garden easily accessible for all We\'re looking for someone who: Has good gardening skills and knowledge Friendly and a good listener Reliable/dependable Comfortable chatting with people with learning disabilities and autism Willing to commit to volunteer regularly A DBS check and two character references will be required.
