Join Jacob Hamilton Gardens Inc in East Hampton, NY as a Perennial Garden/Flower Pots Care specialist! This exciting position offers you the opportunity to work with beautiful plants and contribute to creating stunning landscapes that bring joy to our clients. Responsibilities:
- Maintain and care for flower pots and garden beds, ensuring optimal plant health.
- Monitor soil moisture levels and apply appropriate watering techniques.
- Prune, deadhead, and fertilize plants as needed to promote growth.
- Identify and manage pests and diseases using sustainable practices.
- Assist in designing and arranging plant displays for seasonal changes.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance overall garden aesthetics.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering client inquiries about plant care.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Previous experience in horticulture, landscaping, or a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of plant care, including watering, fertilizing, and pest management.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for gardening.
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, such as pots and soil bags.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
