About the role Hi, my name is Rosie De La Cruz, Events Lead at Customer.io. I’m looking for an Event Marketing Coordinator to help bring Customer.io to life across North America or EMEA events. You’ll own the execution of events that spark curiosity, deepen relationships, and fuel our demand engine— from hosted dinners and field activations to sponsored conferences and webinars. You’ll partner with teams across Demand Gen, Sales, Customer Success, Brand, and Partnerships to create experiences that feel polished, thoughtful, and unmistakably us. This role includes 15%+ travel for field events, conferences, and onsite support. What we value Human‑centered experiences—thoughtful, relevant, and genuinely useful Collaborative energy—you work smoothly across teams and make alignment feel easy Insight‑driven decisions—data guides you, but the attendee experience stays at the center Action with intention—move quickly, adapt gracefully, learn from every event Operational clarity—structure, calm, and consistency in fast‑moving work What you’ll do Events Calendar & Project Management Own Customer.io’s events calendar—field events, hosted dinners, sponsored conferences, and virtual sessions Partner with the Events Manager and marketing team to define goals, audiences, formats, and success metrics Evaluate sponsorships, speaking slots, and new opportunities aligned to our demand and pipeline goals Own day‑to‑day logistics: vendor coordination, timelines, run‑of‑show, speaker prep, and on‑the‑ground support Manage registration flows, pre‑event comms, and the attendee experience from first touch to follow‑up Work closely with Sales, CS, Brand, and Content to keep every event well‑scoped, on‑message, and supported with the right assets Customer Events Lead planning and execution of customer‑focused events—hosted dinners, Suite Series experiences, and curated roundtables for our most strategic accounts Collaborate with CS and AM to identify and invite the right customers, build post‑event follow‑up workflows, and capture feedback that deepens relationships and supports expansion pipeline Identify opportunities to grow the customer event program and increase its impact on retention and advocacy Performance & Optimization Track event performance—registrations, attendance, engagement, and pipeline impact Share insights and recommendations to improve ROI and attendee experience Maintain documentation, templates, and repeatable workflows that make running events more scalable What we’re looking for Located in North America or EMEA 2+ years in event marketing, demand generation, or integrated marketing within B2B SaaS Experience running a mix of virtual events, webinars, and in‑person activations Strong project management skills—you juggle timelines, tasks, and teams with ease Nice to have: Experience collaborating with Sales on event‑driven follow‑up Comfortable with marketing automation tools (Customer.io, HubSpot, Marketo, etc.) and Salesforce Understanding of lead capture, UTMs, attribution, and event funnel performance We believe in transparency. Starting salary for this role is $85,000 – $95,000 USD depending on experience and subject to market rate adjustment.
