Electro-Mechanical Industries, Inc. is seeking a qualified Maintenance Technician capable of completing multiple preventative maintenance tasks at our NW facility. This is a day shift position

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for performing routine and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment, machinery, and facility systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. This role requires hands-on technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond promptly to maintenance issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with Level II or III to perform routine, scheduled, and preventive maintenance on equipment, machinery, and building systems
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues and complete necessary repairs with supervision
• Inspect facilities and equipment to identify potential problems and safety hazards
• Receive maintenance requests and emergency repairs from Level II or III and complete tasks
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and inspection logs
• Replace or repair defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Coordinate with supervisors, vendors, or contractors as needed for specialized repairs
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, company policies, and applicable codes
• Keep maintenance areas clean, organized, and stocked with necessary tools and materials
• Support continuous improvement efforts related to equipment reliability and facility upkeep
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience

·         High School Diploma or GED

·         One (1) to three (3) years of experience in maintenance, facilities, or a related technical role

·         Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and basic HVAC systems a plus
