Housekeeping Attendant

The Firebrand Hotel, located in downtown Whitefish is hiring part-time & full-time Housekeeping Attendants to join our Housekeeping Team at $20-$25 Hourly DOE. All employees receive perks of $50rooms at any of our properties, and discount rates at our spa, restaurant, andretail. PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND POSITION PURPOSE: A housekeeper is responsible for ensuring rooms and otherareas of the hotel are kept clean every day while ensuring housekeepingdepartmental standards are followed. Cleaning includes, but is not limited to,making beds, replacing used towels with new ones, vacuuming carpets, andcleaning and disinfecting bathrooms and ensuring new toiletries provided by thehotel are placed in appropriate areas. Consistently offers professional,friendly, and engaging service. MAIN DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES: Performs cleaning duties in all guest areas and backof house. Use of Maid Cart when cleaning rooms as well asmaintaining inventory of necessary supplies. Emptying garbage, removing linens and towels. Remaking bed with fresh linens and restocking roomwith towels, amenities, etc. Reports necessary maintenance issues to Front Officeso a work order is made. Follows departmental policies and procedures. Follows all safety and sanitation policies. Assist other departments when needed to ensureoptimum service to guests. SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE,SKILLS, AND ABILITY Operating Housekeeping equipment such as vacuums,mops, maid cart, etc. Ability and willingness to adhere to all AverillHospitality policies and ensure departmental personnel compliance. Must maintain a positive influence in the communityand positive relations with area vendors. Teamwork - Balancesteam and individual responsibilities, exhibits objectivity and openness toother views, welcomes feedback, contributes to building a positive teamenvironment, and prioritizes the team’s success above own interests. SCHEDULE AND BENEFITS: Must be able to: stand for 8 hours, lift up-to 50 lbs., dorepetitive work folding linens, loading and unloading industrial-size washersand dryers. Shifts may cover holidays and weekends.
