Role Overview :

Recruiting for a national NY insurance defense powerhouse (79+ attorneys, NY Law Journal's largest women-owned firm).
Seeking Senior Insurance Defense Attorneys
Fully remote role, specializing in $25M-$70M litigations involving negligence, professional liability, and ERISA claims for global carriers.

Key Duties:

Represent insurers in coverage disputes and bad faith litigation, drafting declaratory judgment actions and defending against policyholder claims.
Perform in-depth legal analysis of insurance contracts and regulatory compliance to support aggressive defense tactics in complex disputes.
Prepare and present at trials, arbitrations, and mediations, focusing on toxic tort, environmental liability, and professional malpractice defenses.
Develop litigation budgets and timelines for senior-level insurance defense files, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost control.
Collaborate on appellate briefs and oral arguments to establish precedents favorable to insurance carriers in emerging liability areas.
