This role is being recruited by CoffeeSpace on behalf of an anonymous VC-backed startup focused on building AI agents to automate healthcare back-office operations.

Compensation: $150K - $230K base + competitive equity

About the role

\n

\n

You will be responsible for building and maintaining the core agent infrastructure that supports healthcare customer workflows. This includes developing systems for browser automation, desktop automation, and workflow orchestration.

\n

\n

You will also design evaluation and observability systems to measure and debug agent performance, and improve agent architecture by experimenting with new approaches to planning and execution.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain core infrastructure for computer-use agents, including browser and desktop automation.
\n
• Design systems to evaluate agent performance and track regressions.
\n
• Improve agent architecture with new approaches to planning and memory.
\n
• Own backend systems and workflow orchestration across the TypeScript monorepo.
\n
• Collaborate with forward-deployed engineers to enhance platform capabilities.
\n
• Develop clean abstractions for agents to operate across healthcare systems.

The Ideal Candidate

• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
