Manufacturing Planner (Commercial Airplanes)Onsite in Puyallup, WAPay Rate: $40 - $48/Hour | Second Shift: 3:00 PM to 11:30 PMWe are hiring a Manufacturing Planner to support commercial aerospace production and build planning activities. This role focuses on manufacturing planning, bill of materials (BOM) management, work instructions, tooling coordination, supplier integration, and production process improvement to ensure quality, cost, and delivery objectives are achieved within a dynamic aircraft manufacturing environment.Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing plans, Bills of Materials (BOMs), work instructions, and manufacturing illustrations to document and support as-built product configurationsCreate manufacturing concepts, strategies, and production plans that support program objectives, cost targets, and delivery schedulesIntegrate suppliers, manufacturing processes, materials, data, and technology to meet production and delivery requirementsReview and approve supplier documentation to ensure compliance with manufacturing requirements and specificationsDevelop tooling requirements based on engineering and manufacturing needsManage tooling throughout its lifecycle, from initial design through dispositionInvestigate, troubleshoot, and resolve manufacturing-related issues affecting production performancePerform producibility assessments on parts, assemblies, and product designs.Provide manufacturing and producibility input to engineering teams to improve design efficiency, manufacturability, cost, and schedule performanceDevelop integrated work statements and production sequencing plans to support delivery commitmentsDraft, update, and review manufacturing processes, procedures, and documentation to support regulatory and business requirementsSupport continuous improvement initiatives that enhance manufacturing quality, efficiency, and operational performanceWork under general supervisionQualifications:Associate's degree and 3+ years of related experience (Or an equivalent combination of education and experience such as Bachelor's degree with 1+ year of experience, or 5+ years of related experience)Experience in a manufacturing or production environment requiredAbility to read, interpret, and understand engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and manufacturing documentationExperience supporting cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, quality, and suppliersAbility and willingness to work 2nd shiftPreferred Qualifications:Experience supporting aerospace, aviation, or high-volume manufacturing environmentsExperience working with sheet metal manufacturing processes and/or machining commoditiesMoseley Technical Services, Inc. is an AA/EEO/Veterans/Disabled Employer.What to Expect:Applicants selected for employment will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation, which may include education, criminal, and work history verifications.Accepted applicants will be eligible for benefits, including medical and supplemental insurance, and a 401(k) plan.
