Geotechnical Engineering Office Lead

We are seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to lead our South Dakota office. This role will be responsible for managing geotechnical engineering projects across public works, transportation, commercial, communications, energy, and industrial sectors. Key responsibilities include preparing proposals, developing geotechnical reports, technical letters, and project addendums, while serving as a technical leader and client-facing representative for the office.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field

• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred/required

• Experience in geotechnical engineering and geotechnical analysis

• Knowledge of material testing and subsurface investigations

• Strong technical writing and proposal development skills

Experience Level: Intermediate-level professional with the ability to work independently and lead projects.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
