Quality Assurance Production SupervisorThe Quality Assurance Production Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of technicians and overseeing the testing, quality verification, and final processing of industrial electronic and automation equipment before shipment. This role ensures all products are repaired when necessary, properly tested, cleaned, documented, and validated to meet Radwell quality standards and customer expectations.This position combines technical leadership, quality oversight, and team management to ensure efficient workflow, high-quality output, and on-time delivery. The ideal candidate has hands-on technical experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to lead a production team in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOrganize, prioritize, and manage all orders assigned to the teamSupervise and support a team of 3–10 techniciansEvaluate warranty returns within 48 hours of receiptCommunicate production delays and quality issues to appropriate departments for customer follow-upEnsure processing notes and job status updates remain accurate within company systemsVerify appropriate use of testing equipment, repair assets, and quality control resourcesWitness testing activities and perform quality control inspections to ensure customer satisfactionDirect completed workflow to shipping and final processing departmentsOversee the quality, accuracy, and completeness of repaired and tested productsMaintain clean, organized, and safe workspaces throughout the departmentUtilize Management Reporting System (MRS) tools and reporting effectivelyProvide technician performance feedback during monthly and annual review processesSupport technician training, coaching, and development initiativesIdentify opportunities to improve production efficiency, quality standards, and workflow processesPerform other duties, tasks, or work as assignedMetricsPerformance measured against departmental goals established through monthly reviewsTeam productivity and throughputQuality and customer satisfaction metricsWarranty processing and resolution timesRepair completion rates and on-time delivery performanceSupervisory ResponsibilitiesTechnicians (3–10 direct reports)QualificationsPrior supervisory or team leadership experienceAbility to troubleshoot and solder electronic componentsExperience using hand and power toolsStrong technical aptitude and understanding of repair, testing, and quality assurance processesRequired to provide and maintain personal tools as specified by managementKnowledge & Skills RequiredStrong computer proficiencyAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentAttention to detailStrong problem-solving abilitiesEffective communication and leadership skillsUnderstanding of repair, testing, and quality assurance proceduresAbility to mentor, coach, and develop team membersEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferredTechnical school training or related technical experience preferredTechnical or industrial product knowledge preferredExperience supervising technicians, production employees, or quality personnel preferredPhysical DemandsOccasional sitting, reaching, working overhead, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawlingFrequent walkingContinuous standing and repetitive hand motionFrequent lifting up to 25 pounds and continuous lifting up to 10 poundsRadwell BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision coverage starting Day 1 of employment15 PTO daysPaid company holidaysCompany-paid short-term and long-term disabilityCompany-paid life insurance401(k) with company matchingWork ScheduleAs an exempt leadership position, schedule requirements will be determined by operational needs and the schedule of the team being supervised.
