As a Security Officer Area Patrol in Bartow, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support site personnel and visitors with strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, operational areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and verify entry and exit activity for authorized personnel, visitors, deliveries, and/or vendors in accordance with site protocols.
• Support emergency and incident response efforts by communicating clearly with site personnel, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership during evacuations, medical events, weather issues, and other location-specific situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A current guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
