Job Description

As a Security Officer Entry Management in Lakeland FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location where you will monitor entry points verify credentials and support security-related access control activities. You may conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help discourage incidents and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to all visitors drivers and employees by following site-specific access control procedures badge verification steps and security-related policies at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points for a logistics and distribution location document arrivals and departures verify credentials and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate with site contacts emergency responders and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Maintain detailed activity logs truck gate records visitor registrations and incident reports while supporting package trailer and delivery-related screening procedures in accordance with post instructions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points shipping and receiving areas parking areas and perimeter locations to identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
