About This Role The Registered Nurse in the Community Medicine Program at NYU Langone Health provides nursing care and outcomes for patients in homeless shelter clinics, collaborating with the health team to ensure quality care. Highlights Pay: $125,281.64 - $155,281.64 Annually Location: Brooklyn, NY Facility: NYU Langone Hospital - Brooklyn Schedule: Full-Time, Day shift What You'll Do Performs other duties aligned with the mission and values of the organization. Demonstrates personal accountability for professional practice and growth. Documents patient assessment, reassessment, and progress toward goal achievement accurately and timely. Promotes patient safety and quality, adhering to National Patient Safety Goals. Communicates and collaborates effectively with the health care team, escalating situations appropriately. Establishes effective caring relationships with staff, patients, families, and other health care team members. Administers medication and parenteral therapy in accordance with policy and procedure, including blood administration. Establishes priorities for patient care delivery and coordinates responsibilities independently or through delegation. Provides patient/family education and assists in discharge planning, considering readiness and barriers. Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide nursing care based on patient criteria.
