Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & DeliveryJob Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & DeliveryProfession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery experience is required. License: Active Illinois RN License is required. Certifications: BLS, NRP, and ACLS are required. Must-Have: Illinois Nurse Agency license is required.Description: The Labor & Delivery RN cares for women during labor and childbirth. The RN monitors the baby and the mother. The RN coaches mothers through the labor process. The RN assists doctors during the delivery. The RN prepares women and their families for the stages of giving birth. The RN helps patients with breastfeeding after the baby is born.
