Assistant Project Manager

Morgan Corp. is currently searching for an Assistant Project Manager.

The Assistant Project Manager assist s the Project Manager with the daily management activities for the job site including contract review and administration, cost management, progress quantity verification, safety, personnel management, materials purchasing , and other project support roles .

Responsibilities:

• Preparedrawings, sketches, change order, estimates, RFI (request for information) to support projects
• Maintain submittal logs,assuring all submittals are thoroughly and accurately reviewed for content and conformance with construction documents
• Interpret designs and drawing,prepare takeoffs,research and recommend resolutions to drawing interpretation problems, conflicts, and errors
• Recognize changes to work that differ from construction documents and takesappropriate action
• Assistwith procurement, including quantity takeoffs and pricing of purchase orders, subcontracts, and potential changes to the scope of work
• Ensure completed workcomplies withcodes, drawings, and specifications
• Create correspondence to owners, subcontractors, and engineers.
• Assist Superintendent andProject Manager with budget tracking, job cost review, and reporting
• Assistin preparation of job status reports andparticipatesin projects status meetings
• Conduct job site inspections toassureconformance with contract documents
• Assistwith pre-construction activities as needed: construction planning and design,interpretation of design and drawings,application of construction methods
• Participate in field activities,notify ProjectManager or Superintendent of any personnel issues,complains,or injuries
• Assemble, organize,andmaintaindocumentation needed appetizer fortimelyproject beginning and closing activities
• Participate with project team tomaintainaccurateand up-to-date plans and logs, RFI, change orders,inspectionsand testing
• Support safety program policies, procedures, implementation, and compliance verification
• May Perform Project Manager duties on smaller projects, or under the Project Manager’s supervision on larger projects, including but not limited tosupervisingField/Project Engineers andForemen in a limited role
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications stripes

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, CivilEngineering, or a related field of study, and/or equivalent work experience
